Gilmore Uses NHL Playoffs as inspiration and completes the HAT TRICK!

   The May Heads Up Madness saw the return of past champion Ron Logan and his TnA racing team. After the first round of qualifying and a problem with an oil leak by Gilmore, he sat atop the qualifying list with a 4.08. Gilmore made a statement in the the second round of qualifying by clicking off a 4.00 @181 and taking the top spot. Bob Bridges claimed a seat at the big boy table by clicking off a new best of 4.10 sec.

   Eliminations provided some really good racing but almost predictably, Logan and Gilmore were to meet in the final. Gilmore pulled off a hole-shot to take the win with a 4.13 over Logan's quicker but losing 4.08. Congratulations on your 3rd straight win Matt!

Gilmore Repeats with win at April HUM

Matt Gilmore is one of the few regular competitors in 2013 Open Outlaw season that hasn't suffered mechanical failure or isn't trying to get a handle on a new combination. He rides this advantage to a second straight win and a huge point lead. Matt should see more competition in round 3 from some of our returning veterans. We'll see if anyone can knock the "Animal" off the pedestal! C'mon out and join the excitement!

Gilmore returns to Winners Circle in the first 2013 Heads Up Madness event.

Matt Gilmore struggled somewhat to find the performance at the Snowbirds but was back on track at the Feb 16th event. With a fresh blower and some tune-up changes, Matt laid down a 3.99 second pass to take the top qualifier spot in the field of 8 cars.

Breakage sidelined Tom Wirth Jr, Bob Bridges and Matt Wirth. Gilmore met Craig (Slim) Andrews in the final and clicked off a blistering 3.91 pass to take the win over Andrews who had suffered from tire shake all weekend. Congratulations to Matt and crew.
